I just unlocked my E170 modem but still it isnt connectin with Glo, it keeps giving error 619: A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed.Pls help.

bro,its most likely the SIM hasnt been activated for Internet access or your settings are incorrect.

It is activated cos I can browse with it using my phone as a modem

I guess that particular model doesnt work with glo.

@abibio2001. the problem is with the SIM. try using another SIM and try again. i dont believe the MTN FastLink Modem is Locked to the network. i have used a Glo SIM on mine and i had no problem. all i did was to change the settings.

@blackboy12, Thanks for your reply, are u using the E170 modem too? Wot settings did u do? Pls expantiate, cos the modem works ok with etisalat and zain, na glo dey fuckup

Get a Glo modem,install the software so the settings would be installed automatically.now try the E170 fastlink on d glo software, if it doesnt work,you need to fast n pray harder maybe there would be a supernatural solution to the problem.
