Escape Room


The Escape Room is an American psychological thriller movie, shot in South Africa all through 2017 with a budget of 9 million dollars and upon its release February this year, has grossed an impressive over 155 million dollars at the Box Office. When six strangers (a physics student, truck driver, rich day trader, Iraqi veteran, games enthusiast and bored stock boy) from separate backgrounds but survivor stories in common are gifted a puzzle cube, they unlock what appears to be a quest for 10,000 dollars cash prize until it quickly becomes their ultimate nightmare revisited on a grand scheme.

Casting few relatively unknown actors and advanced movie technology features, the survivor band of 6 are subsequently trapped in a room and forced to search for clues to help them make it to the next round in a building complex designed to be their doom. From the well crafted baking room to icy room and a breathtaking upside down collapsible room among other interesting rooms, Escape Room also explores mans innate adaptation, cooperation, defiance and prominently survival instincts. Definitely A Good Watch for Friday Night
