Has anyone ever seen or encounter a mermaid before?Do they exist?.

A friend of mine said there is one in Osun state and that people do go there to see the mermaid yearly.Is this really true?

Well I spent 5 years in osun, i never heard of such mermaid

It doesnt exist no picture of it .... but it is believed some spirit being lives in the water ....this shouldnt be mistaken for the frictional marmaid with tail and human part that is simply the frictional hollywood perception of marmaid

Religious account believes supernatural being exist in diifferent places one is water ...but trust me they are powerless fo atomic missiles....and if man stop worship them they remain dead and powerless like a lifeless virus

Like i said spiritual being exist everywhere stop giving them attention and they will fade...and die of lack of attention....
We should start giving humans mote of this attention we give this things be aise they are really powerless to we humans ....
They need us to sirvive ...and we dont need them....
This is the rrasons ritual killing still rampant because peope give hears to this powerless beings including Christianity and islam

Modified what we call mermaid are sprit creature who die and dont rest and men begin to worship them ,keeps giving them attention....they dont have tails ,or scales like the movies and they are very useless to today society .....

In as much I doubt their existence cus I have not seen one and I believe in what I see I think they might just exist.I have seen a video of a live mermaid caught swimming on YouTube but the downside of those videos is they are not really clear.

I agree with you that they might not be half-human half-fish as movies portrait them to be.

The stories.of how people turn into rivers cannot be overlooked i tried to disprove it but couldnt, even when am an atheist... Spirituality ,naturality and humanity is what the world is made the world is made of

Spirituality is the least powerless of all thier non existence doesnt affect human thier existence can ulter the gowth of a nation...like nigeria

Naturality...is the most important both spirituality and humanity depend on it ,it encompasses of all life forms ,like trees ,animals,man ,spirit,rivers anything natural without it man and spirit or demos the christans call it will cease to exist

I have heard whitemen come with technologies to catch them in villages in nigeria and take them to thier countries ....

It's true they exist like they don't. But there was a case of the Osun river goddess (A mermaid) threatening to drown its people if they don't reignite their lost communication as it was broken I.e the people stopped communicating with the mermaid.They had to rally around to appease it.

About a mermaid who requested for blood of people to appease it and locals refused....because the sacrifice was too expensive...and it started killing babies in the villages and the king summoned it to the palace and threatened it....and told him to parkout of that village and he left
This marmaid can be killed or poisned the are things they are allergic to like oil in the water ,or anything they forbid ...they are powerless....if you know thier trick...

If those villagers comeout in mass and revolte against it and even capture it ....
Like the popular one in benin that was captured by the whitemen....

Like you said they need humans to survive and that seems to be why they always try to force a communication with us especially when they feel we have completely abandoned/forgotten them.
