What's your view about the weekly uniform imposed on choristers and what's the solution to this?

No opinion per se, I had the same colours down to the shoes, just in a different combination, so I was surprised that's all.

What are your thoughts about choir robes?

So someone will pay for offering, tithe, sow seed and still pay for choir uniform?
Most Nigerian pastors need to be publicly executed for redefining scam.

If the uniforms are too much for any lady to afford, quit the choir and join another department, simple.

hm, I think you mean anko, it's alright if people can afford it but if not, then choir robes might be an option.

Otherwise, I guess the choir can use their discretion.

It doesn't matter. Such a person should join another department, in future when he or she is buoyant, then he can go back to the choir.

The entire idea of having separate people who are dressed differently to sing to God is no feature of the Bible. Choir isn't a Scriptural derivative.

Worship according to the Bible is for everyone together, not a select, fashion-seeking group.
Choir was introduced by politicians some years after Rome took over the first church. It wasn't in the original template for worship, as right as it seems today.

In the old testament, the priests had specific attire described in detail. If you consider choir ministration as a form of priestly ministry, having uniforms would still be in order, just saying.

True, but it's alright.

We don't know the occasion the outfits were meant for, I think that's Roman or Greek style. Could be costume day.

Note: I am not advocating intentionally careless dressing in church, but this particular outfit is interesting and the choristers are well dressed.

You're right.. But you know that in those days, Biblically, there wasn't a building called church like we have today. The early apostles fellowshipped in one another's house. Church came as a building and brought its own way of doings.

I don't think so. In Acts 3, the apostles were going into the temple at the hour of prayer. the gate Beautiful was near the temple.

Singing is not recognized in the Bible as a ministry in the sense you are looking at it. It was not really a special thing that required deftness and skill, never mind mordernity and civilization. You don't need special skill or calling to please God with singing, contrary to other forms of ministrations. Singing was for everyone. Bible says clap your hands all ye people and sing with triumph.
