Prophet Sound Sultan: One day bush meat go catch the hunter.

You see that guy standing on his hind legs, stifling a laugh and holding out a toe? His name is Oseiga, na Warri bushmeat im be.

Oseiga was on his own, inside somebody's farm eating corn when a random hunter entered the picture. You see, Oseiga has respect, if it was the owner of the farm that had shown up, he would have turned tail and left but it was this hungry hunter, without right or reason, that entered somebody else's bush thinking meat was sure. He didn't know he had entered one-chance.

Just imagine the rubbish, you've settled down to enjoy a meal and a few seconds in, a nuisance appears. What was all the more annoying to Oseiga was the fact that the guy was armed to the teeth: dagger, trap, bow & arrow, macheté, na only rocket launcher remain. The first question should have been who sent the hunter message, why was he hunting in someone else's farm? Then you remember that there is usually no electricity and so fresh meat has to come straight from the bush and with so many people hunting these days, protein is scarce.

The hunter sights Oseiga 50 metres ahead not knowing that Oseiga was aware of his presence from the moment he entered a 300 metre radius. The hunter pulls out his bow and arrow, this is easily the biggest bushmeat he has seen in his life and he has been hunting for 27 years. It must weigh at least 13 kilograms, three kilos heavier than what he would usually call big, "Today must be my lucky day", he whispers to himself.

He takes the first shot and misses by an eagle's breath but it's fine, this hunter is a sharp shooter, top of the range, the bushmeat must be lucky today. He takes a second shot and the bushmeat seems to move just in the nick of time, again. Something is wrong here, the bushmeat's luck is becoming too much but nothing spoil, third time's the charm. This time the hunter aims dead-centre between the bushmeat's eyes, sure kill, he can swear on his empty stomach. He sets his wooden arrow with the jagged metal tip, pulls back on the string of the bow at the nocking point, it's as taut as can ever be, he takes an extra breath for assurance and then fires away *whooosh!*.

He can't believe what he just saw, the bushmeat ducked! The thing literally bent down to dodge the arrow!! Ah! It stands on it's hind feet and looks him dead in the eye. Oseiga is annoyed, "Shu wetin dey worry this one? Be like say I don too ignore am. The hunter hasn't eaten good food in three days, he has lost proper sense of reason and so doesn't ask himself important questions like, "How can an ordinary bushmeat dodge my arrow three times without moving from the same spot."

The hunter is angry, he pulls out his dagger and now the staring contest has lasted five seconds but it feels more like five minutes. He throws the weapon with such power, speed and accuracy that he could have easily pinned a fly in flight to a wall, this is the straw that broke the bushmeat's back. With the tip of only two fingers Oseiga smacks the dagger with all it's power out of the picture, the hunter is confused. In that same instant Oseiga disappears, the hunter thinks he saw a blur coming in his direction but that's not possible, bushmeat can't move that fast. His eyes lose their sense of unity and start scouting independently along the line where the prey was last standing, like a chameleon's eyes would do. His vision isn't too clear, his eyes are shaking and he is confused. Within a few seconds he catches site of the rodent. It had moved almost 50 metres in the blink of an eye and was now just ten feet away from him, still standing on it's hind legs, impossible!

Oseiga takes a step forward and the hunter goes for his macheté, the final showdown. Oseiga takes a second step and the hunter charges forward, edge of his blade descending, ready to slice and dice, but then Oseiga disappears again just before the edge of the hunter's experienced blade makes contact. The hunter immediately feels the full weight of 13 kilograms on his right shoulder and a powerful tail wrapped around his neck. His heart starts to pace as the tail constricts his neck, the bushmeat seems to have defied logical speed again. The hunter knows that the jig is up, the hunger has now cleared from his eyes, his village people must have set him up.

In a deep, husky yet well refined male voice, Oseiga whispers into the hunter's ear, "Normally I eat only grass but now I think it's time I add protein to my diet." The hunter's eyes widen with inexplicable fear: First there is a 13kg rodent on his shoulder, second he has seen bushmeat do things bushmeat isn't supposed to be able to do, finally, the bushmeat just spoke his native language into his ear. His heart beats like a talking drum.

Attack!

The hunter is gone and he slumps to the ground as his heart fails. His falling blade drops straight down and lops off his big toe. Oseiga picks up the toe and looks at it deliciously before snickering to himself, trying not to be too loud. Then he says, "Don't be disgusting, I don't eat meat, I'm a vegetarian."

Who is the thief and who is the catcher, who is the bushmeat and who is the hunter?

The stories are always interesting. The only problem is the inconsistent updates.

I just hope you'll do better with this one. That is if it hasn't ended already.

Lol, thank you!

The truth is that we are working diligently on the back-end. The plan is to fully launch Chemical Studios (#ChemStudios) in the not too distant future and at that time consistently deliver content.

Thanks for hanging in with us!
