A government that wakes up in the morning and take stupid actions with far reaching consequences.

This is just telecoms.

What about he man that have a filling station, with children to pay school fees and family to feed?

What about the supply companies? What about the motorist in that area? Now they have to drive 20km to get fuel.

What about that pregnant woman that will find it very difficult now to access a hospital because one man in Abuja woke up and made a law without due warning and time.

This nonsense has to stop

Many are m*d but few are roaming.
An innocent, informative educating thread like this, you turn it into a tribalistic one to make sure we quote you.
Well, I have quoted you.
Now can you go back to the front page with your 30MB data?

Blackmailer are here again. They wanna hand twist the government to have a link to continue their smuggling. Border remain close and Telecom can always adjust to this as they can always arrange with customs on modalities of fueling their sites. Moreover, diesel is rarely smuggled petrol is the main headache.
Re: Border Closure: Telecom Operators Warn Of Network Disruptions by NicolaiAlec: 7:50pm On Nov 09, 2019
Diesel is not subsidized, so there should be no issue.

Is Kano state bounded by foreign country? Why did kano name appear on the list, "panpan" if you know the activity of the petroleum dealers near the boarders you will support the directive, many use it as conduit pipe.check their underground tank it is excessively bigger than normal storage tanks. The telecoms can get special clearance after all it is not every day they supply base stations

If really those in authority are interested in the welfare of the masses, what the Nigerian custom service should do is to assign patrol team from their unit to escort trucks carrying petroleum product to the designated hub sites to supply. with this monitoring system in place there will be no diversion.

Does this government consult stakeholders and widely before taking decisions? They should know that 'for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction'. May we have leaders with proper vision in Nigeria.

That arrangement will fail... Most of the petroleum products are being smuggled out by the security agents themselves.

Hunger is very bad. See what you're doing because of N5000 they give you every month. Hunger has made you not to reasons well, what concerns Ohaneze with MTN? No wonder they say anyone who is hungry is angry, and an angry man sometimes behaves like a man mad.
Bro sorry for your problems... but I can't help you.
