The need to invest more in land and rail transportation in the busiest routes in Nigeria

If you want to know the true on how things stands in Nigeria in terms of movements of people from one state to another just go to the major motor parks around your city and see the busiest routes in the country, I mean interms of entry and excite of people. For example a visit to ABC Transport, The Young , GIGM, Chisco, Ekeson, ITC, Delta Line, GUO, Peace Mass Transit, E.Chukwu, Tele, Big Joe, AKTS, Abia - Line, Cross Country, RST and many more. You will be amazed to see the number of people that commute from these bus terminals everyday on these routes.

Lagos - Onitsha - Owerri - Aba - Portharcourt

Onitsha - Lagos

Owerri - Lagos

Aba - Owerri - Onitsha - Lagos

Portharcut - warri- Benni - Lagos

Portharcut - Aba - Owerri - Onitsha - Lagos

Abuja - Lokoja - Enugu - Awka - Onitsha for Abuja passengers

Abuja - Lokoja - Enugu - Okeigwe - Umuahia - Owerri - Aba - Portharcourt

Abuja - Lokoja - Akwa - Onitsha - Owerri - Aba - Portharcourt

Lagos - Abuja

and

Abuja - Ibadan - Lagos.

Most of these transport companies has more than10 buses leaving their terminal in different locations every day, most of them are privately owned, doing fine, with good services and employs quite a number of Nigerians.

A good business man will always put his or her money where his or her mouth is, So if government really want to do business they should think twice about this route that undoubtedly Is a money spinning venture.

Just an advice

Only abuja - kaduna route generate over 100 million a month multiple that for twelve months that over 1.2 trillion, only kaduna- Abuja route yet Nigerian government will not reason to expand the railway all over Nigerian the last time I tried boarding a train from Abuja to kaduna the passenger is even more than the train with slot of passengers standing on the train
