The North has stolen most of the money that belongs to Nigeria, they are still at the forefront even till now yet it is the headquarters of poverty,illiteracy and backwardness. This shows the type and mind set of the INDIMI's the so called university project was an after thought after he had donated a much more costly structure to a university in the USA.
It is a shame on the Indimis to have reported sponsoring just over a thousand citizens.
The problem in the North is that all such ventures are considered nor REWARDING. Most rewarding is building Mosques all over the place. That is what the Quran teaches them. It is more rewarding building Mosques and indoctrinating the young ones towards fighting the cause of Allah, while any form of education is abhor by them

I am not a supporter of Reno though,I have been to Maiduguri and some parts of Borno state,with the enormous wealth from our common resources in the custody of indimi..he has not done enough.when he gave an America university &14m,it was all over the media,so they loud their giving.

The Prophet Mohammad said that one of the seven groups of people that will be granted shade on the Day of Judgment includes the one who gives charity but hides it, so that even his left hand does not know what his right hand has spent.

Islam places a great emphasis and reward on giving charity in secret. It preserves the dignity of those who receive the charity, and also prevents the giver from being boastful or seeking praise.

Islam teaches Muslims that giving in secret is far superior to giving publicly, and that drawing attention to one’s charitable actions is a highly undesirable quality. The Prophet said: “Allah loves the God-fearing rich man [who gives much in charity but still] remains obscure and uncelebrated.” (Muslim)

Giving charity in secret is best when giving charity that is voluntary (Sadaqah). Regarding voluntary charity, God says in the second chapter of the Quran:

“If you disclose your Sadaqaat (almsgiving), it is well; but if you conceal them and give them to the poor, that is better for you.” [Quran 2:271]

Now he has done what we are criticising Buharinomics for--dashing N360billion Abacha Loots to Almajiris, a consumptive rather than a productive venture. Buhari could have given N10BILLION to each of our 36 Constitutional States with Blueprint to develop uniform Ranches.

1. Otedola is a private individual and he can do whatever with is money.

2. He did not dash the money to the NE, he gave the money to Save The Children, a well-known organization to manage and disburse the money based on the needs of the beneficiaries, if the clinic is their needs, they'll build the clinic, if it is schools, they'll build the schools.

It's all about their immediate needs, not what you think they need or must be done.

100% here in Nigeria and the pictures are sad reflections and realities in that part of Nigeria, but the people from that part of Nigeria will not talk about the backwardness and useless leadership under their own nose, but they are always on the frontline putting other people down as if their region is any better when in fact, it's worse.
