World No. 1 Rafael Nadal will head up Group A at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. The Spaniard is joined by Novak Djokovic, Tomas Berdych and Andy Roddick. In Group B, four-time former champion Roger Federer will be challenged by Robin Soderling, Andy Murray and David Ferrer.

The draw for the prestigious season finale was made on Tuesday morning at La Galleria Pall Mall in London, where the unique “Art of Tennis” collection is being exhibited.

Roger's been coming on strong lately. He won the Basel Indoor tournament and another Masters title before that and got the Paris tournament semis losing only to Monfils in a thriller of a match but you can never rule out Nadal though he's been under the radar lately.

Murray beat Soderling 6-2, 6-4. I didn't expect the match to be this one-sided.

In the other match, Federer is leading Ferrer 4-0 in the first set.

Anyways, I expect Murray and Federer to qualify from this group.

I was a bit worried 4 Nadal coming into this tour from such a long rest, and|I was always suspected he'd lose his 1st set, Rafa needed some time to get into his rhythm. but if he ever recovered quickly, he'dtake some beating. Roddick never really had a chance against Nadal's backhand

The slowish surface makes me believe that the favs will win their matches most of the time in this tournament and only a couple of semi surprises i expect.

Soldering's got a massive serve but no killer instinct too many unforced errors, Ferrer a lil hustler very weak serve but will chase all the balls

u rily ddnt speak too soon. . . .with murray leading 4-1 in the tie break, one can assume game over already but as i mentioned my earlier post, the difference has been how each player has handled the pressure better. . . . Nadal was undaunted despite throwing away a 3 points lead in the 3rd set.
