You are right.
Initially, GIG motors started using Benz sprinter and were the first to start using them as transporter vehicles in Nigeria. Then GIG motors partnered with the Chinese to produce a perfect copy of the Sprinter for half the price of Benz Sprinter that's how they came out with the present vehicles they use today.
Mind you, the sprinter look alike which they use now is owned by GIG motors. They own the brand of those vehicles.
