A message to Seun Osewa.

Firstly, “in my great and unmatched wisdom”, dear Mod, please do not hide my post/thread until it gets to the intended receiver, on this note, I’ll like to thank you Seun for Nairaland and it’s seemingly unending benefits to the users.
Furthermore, the news media/press is the fourth realm and the hope of the common man, Nairaland as a forum encompasses the distinct news media/journalistic attributes, and by empowering certain users to act as Super mods and mods, basically you are adhering to the principle of gate-keeping.
Importantly, Nairaland is the biggest forum in Nigeria and by extension one of the top 10 in Africa, undoubtedly, Nigeria is a multi-religious nation and the reach of online news media/press(Nairaland) can not be overemphasized.
Despite the wealth of knowledge, ideas and etc gained here, it’ll be pertinent to note that the actions of some moderators are questionable and one will be forced to ask if they are not held accountable for, fanning embers of disunity, encouraging tribal slurs and etc, as it is their duty to push news worthy stories/events to FP.
However, it is not expected that the moderators adhere strictly to the ethics of journalism as over time it’s evidently used to oppress the common man in various ways, nonetheless it’s expected that news/opinions/stories and etc posted on FP meet a moderate level of objectivity, truth and verifiability.
In conclusion, the citizen journalists(moderators) of Nairaland should strive to maintain a balanced level of plastering news stories on FP which does not seek to ridicule a tribe, religion or mock the existence of a group, without a doubt, objectivity in reporting should be upheld at all times. Worthy of note to mention is that the easiest, yet deadly tool to destabilize a nation is the media/press.

I support you however the owner of this forum has turned blind to the atrocities committed by the moderators on this forum. I doubt if this article gets to front page
