THE NATIONAL TREASURES

“The richest assets in Nigeria are truly Nigerians,
But the greatest wasted resources in Nigeria,
Are also Nigerians! ”


I have come to realize that the most treasureable places
Are often the most miserable and pitiable places
That could provide abundant reliable opportunities,
Tangible Potentials and formidable fortunes for its inhabitants…!
Yet these treasureable places remain undesirable and unexplorable
Without a reasonable fact of why it remain unexploitable
For the profitability and Betterment of the masses called Nigerians.

I even wonder why we merely survive in a nation such as this,
When enormous, plenteous and precious resources
Are loaded within us and underneath our feet!

I still wonder why we allow our fellow Brethren to die in poverty like beggar
When most of us are blessed and empowered enough
To enrich and solve one another predicaments and misfortunes!

I wonder why we value material things far above our fellow brethren
Who are possessors of National treasures that are higher and far better
Than any expensive gold and diamond in the world!

And I wonder if we will ever come to the knowledge, understanding
And reality of reaping our God-given natural and human resources
Which are capable of enriching and beautifying our lives,
For healthier, wealthier and Better living!


These circumstances grieve my heart…
It grieves my heart to see how treasures with great measures
Are being suffocated, assaulted and brutally sacrificed
On the altar of greediness, wickedness and foolishness!
Within and outside our dear nation!

Indeed, it is sickening and disheartening to see
How multi-trillion Dollar treasures are left unexplored, untapped and wasted,
While forfeiting our golden tomorrow for mere pleasures and peasant today
Which lives and dies and fades like the Sun-rise and Sun-set of the day!

It is even more pathetic and heart-breaking
When Mr. Death easily snatched these potential National Treasures
And wrapped them in the belly of his friend – Mr. Grave,
Thereby bringing a total closure of the Treasure’s benefits and Profiting,
While we just helplessly watch and do nothing!



Hmmm!
This sound like a nation being stripped and robbed of
Her glorious Honour and Dignity!
This sound like a nation’s boom heading for her doom!
And these sounds like a nation with much food
Yet her citizens are dying every day of starvation and destitution!

What a sacrilege?
What an abuse of privilege?
This is unacceptable,
This is unbearable
This is unthinkable
And this is despicable

How come we desert our fellow citizens when they need us most?
How dare we have the mind to debase fellow Nigerians to piece of rags?
How come we invest so much in all kinds of national projects,
And refuse to invest in the real project called the ‘Better Nigerian Project’?

What a shame we had bought for ourselves?
What a mockery we had earned for ourselves?
For if we don’t respect ourselves,
How do we expect other Nations to Respect us!
If Nigerians refuse to value fellow Nigerians,
Then we all as a Nation had lost value in the midst of international community!

Therefore the truth is, if we don’t Treasure ourselves,
No one, no Nation will ever treasure us!
And we often seem to forget who we are and what we worth!
This is our undoing and it had made us valueless and vulnerable…

We must all come to this understanding that God has given us raw treasures,
And it is our natural duty to cook them deliciously and sumptuously,
So that we could be well fed
So that our people could live well
And be thankful of the Nation
That is given to them by the King of Creation!

Be that as it may, the onus rest on every Nigerian
To make this our Beloved Nation to be heavenly-Nigeria
And become the envy of other nations of the world.
This is because the treasures to make Nigerians Healthier, Wealthier and Better
Lies and lives within each and every Nigerian!
For what we are looking for in Sokoto
Are already loaded in our Shokoto!

May the Almighty God grant every Nigerian the enablement
To value fellow Nigerians within and outside Nigeria
Thereby leading Nigeria to a wealthy and Powerful Nigeria!

Long live Nigerians!
And long live our Fatherland!

BATTLE OF THE gods

Fellow Distinguish Friends and loved ones,
It is treason of oneself to live a life of pretense while in existence
It is foolishness and backwardness of the mind
For us to assume and come to a conclusion to say,
That the evil and rot in our societies
Are mere random, social and natural happenings!

It is even more atrocious and disastrous
To be silent while ‘spiritual’ manipulators and oppressors
Rise in fierce wrath against the harmless and defenseless in the society,
While we do nothing!

It is therefore of essence and necessity,
That we become abreast of the imminent drums of war,
That had been sounding since the cry for BETTER LIFE
In our nation Nigeria and among humanity worldwide!

No doubt!
There is a war coming!
There is a battle coming!
It is not the battle of the fittest!
It is not the battle of the finest!
Neither is it the battle of the strongest!
It is not even the battle of the poorest!
It is not the battle of the richest
Neither is it the battle of the best
But it is the battle… of the gods.

A battle where mortals are meaningless!
A battle where the help of men is hopeless!
A battle where the strength of men is nothingness!
A battle where the wealth of men is valueless!
A battle where the weapons of war are useless!
And A battle where the strategies of war are worthless!
Yes!
It is this the battle of the Deity and Divinity?
Yes! It is the battle of the gods among humanity…
Hmmm!


Oh…this battle will certainly define our history and destiny!
This battle will structure our very existence and entity!
This battle will distinguish who we are,
What we stand for and where we belong!
This battle will differentiate the light from darkness!
And set the pace for our persistent and permanent triumph
And dominion over wicked kingdoms on the planet earth!

Indeed…
The victories and memories of this war,
Will ever remain afresh and treasured as trophies in our hearts!
The valours and glamours of this war,
Will be spoken from generation to generation without end!
Even after countless centuries, the fame of this war
Will never get to the mortuary nor be buried in the cemetery,
Because it will be living and moving from sanctuary to sanctuary and century to century!

Brothers and sisters,
We are not alone!
There is more to the spiritual than to the physical!
What we see in the physical are little compared to what is in the spiritual!
What occurs in the physical had already been triggered in the spiritual;
For the spiritual beings amongst us
Far out-number the physical beings that we see!
And the forces of the spiritual are what set the pace of the physical realm!

So let’s wake up!
Let’s stand up!
And be perpetually spiritually inclined,
And spiritually engage the force of change;
Spiritually engage the force of righteousness!
Spiritually engage the force of meekness!
Spiritually engage the force of prayerfulness
Spiritually engage the force of selflessness!
And spiritually engage the force of godliness

So as to dethrone…
The reign of wickedness in our motherland!
So as to subdue…
The authority of cruelty in our fatherland!
So as to make life better and sweeter
For everyone within our Canaan land!
And to ensure we obtain a healthier and wealthier nation within our land.

For we are the hope, peace, unity, and prosperity of our nation!
For we are today, tomorrow and the future of our nation!
We are the Heroes and helping hands -
That will save our nation from desolation and destruction.
Yes, we are the saviours of our Nation
Not Foreigners, not expatriates, not Technocrats, But True Better citizens of our Nation.

Be that as it May,
We are the Better Nigerians that will make Nigeria Better and Healthier!


May God bless the souls of Nigerians!
May God bless our Motherland!
And God bless us all!

And obligation to fashion Nigeria
To become an enviable indivisible nation among other nations
In all ramifications and glorifications!
Yes…this is Nigeria!

Where hopes and dreams never gives up,
Until the carrier naturally gives up!
Where public service pays economic looters
Than economic boosters!
Where fishes in the midst of the sea,
Die in thirst of water and hunger!
Where schooled-dullards easily become the best
Among schooled-brilliants!
Where guardians encourage young Nigerians to practice mal-practice
At the expense of a studious, patriotic lifestyle.
Where round pegs are displaced from round holes
While square peg are tribally fused in round holes!
Where honesty is perceived as stupidity
And hostility to other people’s prosperity!
Where most people are smiling and suffering…
Expecting ‘E go better One Day’!
While others are harbouring and gathering treasures
Without measures everyday!
Yet… this is Nigeria!

A land flowing with milk and honey!
A land filled with the talented without money!
A land filled with multitude of powerful brains…
Yet without a manufactured gain!
A land blessed with treasures and wealth of nations…
Yet without a jewel to behold within our nation!
What a mess!
Yet…this is Nigeria!

A land where the laws are made for the rich!
A land where the laws are blade to the poor!
A land where criminals and murderers are treated as honourable men!
A land where the innocent are trampled upon as dishonourable men!
A land where the corrupt are turned to celebrity!
A land where the incorrupt are turned to non-entity!
And even casualty of anarchy!
Oh…what a pity…to permit hyper-insincerity
In our entity!
What a pity…to limit credibility
And sponsor infidelity in our vicinity!
Yet…this is Nigeria!
Our own beloved Nation!

Jokes apart;
Nigerians are truly good people!
Nigerians truly lovely people!
Nigerians are truly diligent people!
Nigerians are delightsome people!
Nigerians are just too unique and precious to be toyed with!

Yet…the administrations and dispensations in Nigeria,
Had transformed Nigerians into professional
Pen-robbers, armed robbers, cyber-criminals,
Suicide bombers, ritual-killers, kidnappers,
Traffickers, sex-workers, drug-pushers and corporate-beggar!
Yet…we call this Nigeria?
Our own land of promise?

See If Leaders, Parents, Guardians and Traditional rulers
Refuse to check their acts in Nigeria,
Time will check!
And if time fails to check,
Nature will check!
And if nature fails to check,
Patience! Patience! Patience!!!
Will be the only tiny rope
To hold the hopes of Nigerians!
And when this fragile rope cuts-off..
When this emaciated and kwashiorkor hope gives up!
A gruesome and devastating and aggressive revolution
That the world had not witnessed before,
Will take shape,
For the liberation, restoration and glorification
Of our great glorious nation
From the hands of the merciless and ruthless
Oppressors within and outside our dear nation!

Indeed…
This is Nigeria!
Our pride!
Our treasure!!
Our own beloved Nigeria!!!
