The EFCC, Makurdi Zonal Office, on November 20, 2019, arraigned one Adetunji Oluwatoba Obasanmi, an officer of the Federal Road Safety Commission before Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon, sitting at the Federal High Court Makurdi, Benue State. He was arraigned on a three-count charge bordering on Cyber Crimes. .

Obasanmi is alleged to have sometimes in June 2019, intentionally used the name of one Kelly Brautigam, on an email without authority, which document he knew contained false pretence and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 25 of the cyber crimes (Prohibition, Prevention etc) Act, 2015 and punishable under the same section of the Act.
