Is Focusrite a good audio interface for recording if so which version is best suited for me?

Focusrite audio interfaces (sound cards) are by far one of the best in the market. For their prices and functionalities they are much recommended. However some beginners may find them a bit difficult at first if you don't know how to use DAW.

DAW stands for Digital Audio Workstation. It is a software that lets you record muliple layers through your sound card to your computer. Some examples are FL Studio, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro etc. All Focusrite audio interfaces includes some few DAW software.

There are different types of Focusrite sound card. Some popular choices are:
Foucsrite Scarlett Solo
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
Focusrite Scarlett 4i4
Focusrite Scarlett 18i8
Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
These are the 3rd Generation Series unveiled by Focusrite in mid 2019.

Focusrite manufactures professional audio equipment like audio interfaces, microphone preamps, consoles, analogue EQs, Channel strips, and digital audio processing hardware and software. They are based in England but their products are manufactured in China. Its sometime difficult to get a genuine Focusrite product in Nigeria which is why I buy all my studio equipment from Gopandy Musical.

So, if you are a singer/songwriter and just want to play an acoustic guitar/piano or sing a melody, record multiple layers and mix them at home to make a professional studio quality track, the Scarlett Solo or 2i2 is your best bet.
