Before I commence, I want to make it clear that by freelance, I don't mean those guys looking for 50kobo per word on Nairaland. I am referring to those already active on known FL sites like upwork.

Some years ago, I was active on Upwork. I eventually stopped. I am planning on going back into another niche (data analysis/data science).

However, I know the challenge of securing a job on those sites. Plus some Indian scammers that coerced you to deal with them off the platform.

I will like to hear from folks who are doing this and the challenges they face.
