HISTORY OF HOW KOGI STATE WAS CREATED People that Agitated in 1990 for the Creation of kogi state during the era of president Ibrahim babangida YORUBA (present day kogi west) -Raphael Ojeva(MD Nitel) -Sunday awoniyi -Micheal osaju -Micheal Obaro and many more others EBIRA (present day kogi central) -Maj Gen Salihu Ibrahim (chief of army staff) -Inspector General Aliyu Attah (Inspector General of police) -Abdulrahman okene (minister of interior; chairman Nigeria elders forum) -Sani Omonori(Ohinoyi Ebiraland) -Alhaji ozi Salami (Sec.General, Arewa forum) -Alhaji Usman obatemi -Maj. General Abisoye. -Mahmoud Attah(he enrolled babangida into the Army) -Alhaji Abdul kokori and a host of others People that Agitated 1990 for creation of: Okura State/Akpa state -Engr. Isah Odoma -Ali Obaje (Attah of Igala) -col. Ahmadu Ali -Achimogu the Latter (okura/Akpa) never materialised, hence the benue igala people were asked to join the ebira and okuns in the new kogi state. |
