Dear my fellow Nairalanders

Please I wish to seek your professional advise on this issue which have been going on in my family for the past 9 months and so.

My late father was a retired police officer who was receiving pension under the Sigma pension company before his death,
After his death my mum went to their office for confirmation on how to retrieve his remaining funds of which the organization find out my elder brothers' name which he used as his Next of Kin was having some omission and they opt for court proceedings in oder to validate his identity.

This started around April this year which result to my mum and brother going to the state court and they were told on the cost and other process involved.

- They request for some amount of money to be paid before his change of name application to be processed and published in news paper
- After the payment and every every they asked them to wait for three month of which upon reaching the three month they said their was misconduct on the court were the person that carried the first proceedings impersonate the Judge signatory.

And they asked my mum to pay another sum of 30,000 which she actually don't have

But till date there is no outcomes even when they wrote an official letter to the bank in charge of my late dad's salary to transfer the remaining fund into her account.

Pls I need your help on; how to further get my dad gratuity after this mistake my dad made and to know if it's only in this state that we can do this process as it's really depressing my mum right now that she is broke and has not receive any cash for the past 8months

Pls we need your help this festive period

I don't think your dad made a mistake
Children have a funny way of changing their names once they learn how to write.

Your brother could present his 100 level acceptance form or any documents that bares your dad's signature and name. So far it's an official document, it will still count as an evidence.

The long court process is meant to milk you by some devlish humans...
