We don't want presidency.

We want to be on our own.

I don't think its a crime for a particular tribe to say " I don't want to belong to a country.

Currently, no tribe in Nigeria can produce a president alone without the support of others even the Hausa\fulanis.

I have advocated for full restructuring or total break so that everybody go answer his papa name, but southerners are too docile to read the handwriting on the Wall.. The future is very dark for southerners.

By next years to come, Fulanis can produce the president and vice president and still win and there is nothing anybody can do about it. Yes, they can pick their vice from the north too..
Who could have thought that Nigeria wl witness political rascality we are witnessing today under Buhari's adminstration. ?

Currently according to CIA records, their population is a percent higher than that of southerners put together.

Time shall come when they would swallow our population, then we come online and wail, wail and wail again and nothing will come out of it.

As for Igbo Presidency, Igbo political leaders of SE extraction should should make some adjustment in certain issues like " I wasn't consulted before this and that". They did it to Peter Obi, though Peter Obi still outshined them in his stronghold..
Left for me,we should focus more on restructuring or Balkanization of Nation called Nigeria..

See how Otuoke, Duara and Obasanjos home towns are looking like Dubai.

And to some people who are all over this thread claiming that Igbos are abusive.. You case is like aggressors accusing others what they are guilty of in order to appear innocent..

Go back to your history get yourself informed. Political mischievousness is more dangerous than cancer.

Mind you, we owe no clown any explanation.. Whatever you think abut Igbos should remain in your skulls and get rotten.

. Okorocha appears to be only person who knows what it means for a region to present the president.. You cannot do it alone. As I said earlier the future of the Igbos is in their hands.

If Okorocha likes, let him answer what nobody asked him in order to favor his kinsmen in the north, kuje or kirikiri is waiting for him. Just a matter of time, Orji kalu has received his payback.

Rochas Okorocha, the Imo West Senator has declared that the South East alone can’t make themselves President in 2023.

The Senator disclosed this while addressing newsmen on Wednesday, in Abuja.

Okorocha reiterated that the southeast needs the support of the North and other geopolitical regions to achieve its aim of producing Nigeria’s president in 2023. He stated that Nigeria needs a president who would continue with the efforts of uniting the country, create jobs and also guarantee security.

He said: “The Igbo alone cannot make themselves the president. The quicker they come together and start shoring up support from the North and other parts of the region the better it is to realise the dream.

“I know we shall come up to that point one day when who becomes the president would not be based on tribe or religion. For as long we keep promoting tribal and religious sentiments, we are not getting it right.”

thanks a million times, some people have brain but can't use it, how does kalu who has impoverished abians through his loot now turn to blessing to eastern region. The west should continue to promote their corrupt leaders.

I am Igbo, but we should forget about Presidency our people are not matured enough for it neither are we ready for it.

More marginalization is coming, except Buhari is a good man which I know he is, if Buhari and Amechi is to pay us back in the coin of Ipob, south eastern infrastructures would remain abandoned.

Amaechi has Presidential Ambitions he hasn't become President yet and our people are already trying to create an enemy out of him.

Before u know it when he becomes President he would give us his own share of marginalization, we would keep shouting marginalization up and down without knowing that our foolishness as Igbo's is the major cause

People need to leave Buhari alone to do what he must do. They may not understand his approach now until he leaves office just like they now claimed GEJ is "father of democracy" yet there was widespread looting. No govt officials was persecuted under him. Is that democracy?.

I believe he should let sowore go but not at behest of international community. No country on Earth would allow citizen to walk freely for calling for revolution against its govt.

Even in the US you will disappear if you say something about govt. They will secretly arrest you and take you to secret location where your family don't see you anymore.

If they also believe in democracy why are they after Edward Snowden?. He's American and he dare not step in US. He will be arrested and face death sentence or life in prison for his speech against US. He's currently hiding and seeking asylum in Russia since 2011 I think. Also WikiLeak guy seeking protection in equadorian embassy in the UK for years was forcefully arrested by UK police. The guy dare not step in Australia and Sweeden. He will arrested and extradited to US. So whether Buhari administration is morally justified by his treatment of Sowore or not it's not issue of democracy or tyranny. All govts in the world do that.

Whatever you think abut Igbos should remain in your skulls and get rotten.I disagree with you completely, I feel the Igbos are not political savvy, they are too individualistic and emotional. They have the same opportunities as every other region but have refused to adapt politically. For example, how do they expect to produce a winning presidential candidate when all major politicians are in the PDP and almost the rest of Nigeria's Politicians are in the APC? One would think for the sake of their region the would have moved to APC to secure better opportunities.

There is a university of Transport in Daura being built.

A railway line would pass through as well.

Yes, it brings development.

Otuoke now has a university and even pipe-borne water.

Truth be told, everybody is a leader in Igbo land so no one can come out and claim leadership role over anyone..this character trait is the problem of the region..may be they will soon accept KANU as the new face of Igbo leader .Bring him back home and sponsor him for political post

Totally agree...

Now the shaming the igbos strong politicans... Orji, okorocha, etc

If we can't support our own then we r truly lost ....

Kanu would have been a strong opposition

Please which Kanu? Kanu Nwankwo or Nnamdi Kanu? If you put Nnamdi Kanu forward, he won't get a single vote from all the 19 Northern States and the six Yoruba Stares except the votes of Igbo residents there. In Lagos, we won't even allow any Igbo to vote, if you doubt it, check what we did to Igbo PDP supporters during the last governorship election in Lagos.

So, stop talking as if every Nigeria is Igbo. If you don't stop abusing other tribes, you will never get even the number five position in Nigeria. As for the Presidency, Igbo will never ever rule Nigeria

Igbos should stop insulting other tribes if they want to produce an Igbo President; Hausa/Fulani will not allow power to go back to the South in the near future; Yorubas will produce the next President when power rotates back to the South in 2023. It's all about which tribe rules Nigeria. Let's continue to live in self denial of frightening security, poverty, frustration, and unemployment challenges threatening the foundation of this country's existence till we wake up one day and discover we cannot keep our nation together anymore.
