I really enjoyed listening to M.I.'s M.I.2 - The Movie. But I feel its not as good as his previous album "Talk About It".

I also enjoyed RuggedMan's new album "Untouchable".

the movie thing is a very excellent and quite unique idea/concept, masterclass production but d lyrics seem to be the failure point of this project
Actually, i see M.I trying too hard to be commercial, he already had a large fanbase, so IMO he needn't go so low (so commercial)
I remember the hype before TAI, When heard the project, i held him as an average rapper
and then i listen to ILLEGAL MUSIC and i was like damn!, this dude's a Genius (i was against those making Naeto C comparisons)
TAI & ILLEGAL MUSIC weren't that tight production wise, so i thot that was gon be the plus on this project, but its like he took one out for the other,I'm still yet to see a naija Rap album with very good Lyrics & Production overall, (that will most definately be a classic) i stand to be corrected thou, i thought M.I will be the first to do it, he might still be ,but dis is definately not it sha

Don;t know why, but i seem to always prefer M.I song that most people ain't hyping about
My best in TAI was HUSTLE
For MI2 it has to be WILD WILD WEST

althou i must admit, i share the love for ONE NAIRA ft WAJE (Waje does excellent, M.I does his thing too) Everything was perfect in the song except M.I's Bridge, It sounded quite annoying for a song with nice vocal's as waje's


All in All, i would still jam M.I songs, althou i might not even bother to listen to his Cds if this was his first release (Pardon me i'm a fan of lyrics over production, but i like when a song comes good overall)

after listening to this album of m.i. several times, i realized it's just hype and no substance. the post-production crew should be sent to iraq for some sharia punishment. the album didn't score with me. granted, m.i showed his power of lyricism but the track lay-out was rubbish. whoever arranged the tracks screwed up. too many unnecessary skits and fillers. m.i. ends several tracks with unnecessary rants and he goes "you wanna dance with the devil, then let's go". under normal circumstances, the next track should start with a banging beat to keep the listener on the edge but what did m.i. give us? . . .another boring instrumental that takes another 20 secs before the beat bangs. it's a disgrace - m.i. should know better. as far as i am concerned, mode-9's 'da vinci mode' was more entertaining. the whole m.i. and waje drama just ruined everything - if m.i. shouldn't have bothered deceiving us he was doing something phat - he should have just done another[b] trapped in the closet[/b] version 2.0 like r.kelly.

it was eldee's review that put the final nail on the coffin. i read some reviews elsewhere before reading eldee's and i also know m.i. is capable of making a good album so i blame m.i for putting out dirt and i blame eldee for hyping the dirt.
