It is unfortunate that most nigerians never understood the power of a Muslim president, especially in Africa and Arab nations.the Muslim president is power drunk, tyrant. Violation of human rights and creating tribal war. Pushing other tribes against their will. Meanwhile their side or region has nothing to offer, humanly or resourcefully. nigeria is in big problem with the presence of these Islamists. Quote me I am here.
I don't quite agree with your submission. You'll agree with me that the late President Yaradua was a thorough bred and a progressive. His Presidency, though short lived was unarguably the best we've seen in recent time. And please it has nothing to do with Islam. Let's call it that

Its personal hatred for and animus towards President Buhari should not be allowed to becloud its good judgment.

The standard line for zombies and BMC is to allege "hatred".

I remember how the Punch whitewashed Buhari through their editorials during the 2015 elections.

Courageous or being stupid? This is how you people hail others into oblivion. I am sure that right now, Saraki and co will be saying had I know, all because of people like you.
What does saraki have to regret?
I put it to you that in the annals of the nation's history, saraki occupies a higher pedestal than Tinubu. He will always be remembered as a former president of the senate, while tinubu, except 2023 favours him will be known as a national leader, which is meaningless even to the party he claims to lead.

Garba Shehu understood the reason The Punch chose to henceforth refer to Buhari as General Buhari.

However, to site the instances of Obasanjo and IBB in defence of General Buhari and refer to The Punch as being Partisan is simply ridiculous and annoying.

So many instances can be sited as General Buhari's disrespect, disregard and desecration of the judiciary and rule of law. The instances are unprecedented under a democratic system of government and he expects us to stay silent and watch him drive the nation aground and into dictatorship.

Garba Shehu should admonish his General Buhari to stop being tyrannical and subject himself to the democratic system that respects the rule of law. Nigeria is not under military regime just in case amnesia made him forget.

The problem isn't the use of the title "General"
BUT
the use of "Regime" instead of Government.

Those crying evidence of freedom of speech had better think!
a regime is a form of government, what punch is changing is calling it Administration government, its a regime when there is no rule of law and you have a dictator, it's an administration when there is rule of law and all arms of government are respected, General Buhari Regime does not respect other arms of government especially the courts.

It is the especial nature of Major General Buhari to be tyrannical. He is naturally a dictator. Those who witnessed his rule in the 1980s can testify to his dictatorial and tyrannical tendencies.

Hmm... It seems to me that punch is trying something. If that thing start, owhhow. The portrait of the president must be respected irrespective of how the president aired.
Egypt, Syria,Libya Are example.
For me, the best protest is to boycott the presidency and not reporting any of it's events.
Don't worry. The presidency are throwing them out from covering them by themselves grin

Garba has, as expected, refused to address the DSS and Sowore's militarist highhandness and has twisted the message to make it look like it is Punch vs the Nigerian People. Throwing the "hatred" nonsense was expected; whips up emotions and makes the power base of Mamman Daura/ Abba Kyari/ Buhari go on a frenzy.

It wont happen this time. The Nigerian People know better.
Meanwhile, has Garba answered Aisha?
