I have been watching this diminutive controversial North Korean president for sometime now,  ever since the bush administration called on the UN Nuclear council to impose sanctions on north Korea for Uranium Enrichment programs. I always had an easy feeling in my gut whenever i saw him in pics or videoclips on CNN. Some months ago we heard t of the sinking of a South Korean navy ship blamed by the North Korean and the issue being so sensitive and the Chinese were also quick to jump to the support of Pyongyang by warning the USA not to deploy its naval carrier into the yellow sea, calling the carrier deployment a threat to Chinese security, Now the effect of that can be seen by the recent shelling of a South Korean island on Tuesday by the North Korean Army. Tensions are really heating up[ in the peninsula, and the weekend's arrival of a U.S. aircraft carrier in the Yellow Sea has further pushed events towards an all out war. The USS USS Naval Carrier "George Washington" accompanied by escort ships, is to take part in military drills with South Koreans in prep of events further degrading in the region. It really piqued my nerves watching all these events unfold over the past days and to realize that former US president George .W. Bush warned the U.N security council and the rest of the world about this lunatic called "Pyongyang" but as usual everyone focused his invasion of Iraq as a failure and hence didn't heed the warning,  now we are seeing what he for saw,
Look @ it this way eventually North and south Korean go to war America backs south Korea,  the Chinese back North Korea,  Britain  try to stop the Chinese, Russia finally have a reason to go to war with America attack USA  and Britain, Israel attack Russia,  the U.A.E attack Israel the middle East is plunged into war the E.U is divided over USA and Russia, we have the Third world war, Pls my brothers and Sisters lets start praying against this war in the Korean Peninsula

i can't agree with u more on dat.there is this power tussle going on between the U.S.,China and Russia and they happen to be the three millitary heavyweights right now (although China is not too strong but its Economic power is a cover).it wouldn't be just Russia and the UAE joining forces with China but smaller south American countries like Venezuela,Cuba,Vietnam,etc and it won't be funny.lets just pray noting happens(especially we from poor Africa)

For d middle east theater, I don't c UAE going on offensive. Probably consider Iran attacking Israel, Israel retaliates strongly and Syria joins in wt Egypt and Turkey Jst on d flanks. European powers start calling in favours from African allies. African nations contributing troops to different theaters as their alliances wt Europe directs.

India becomes darling of Asia at Pakistan and China. Indonesia, Philippine and Bangladesh r on seething edge as d war moves into sea of Japan. Ds is apocalypse.

Maybe Africa will still b d safest place if boko haram and al quaeda in Africa don't go mad wt riots.

This is just the wrongest time for any country to go to war. Even the world economic giants can't afford to . The world economy would be in total shambles.They'll do well sticking to diplomacy. If that fails,well,nigeria might just come out as the latest super power. We'll dish out a recue package to save the world economy.

There's no proper time to go to war, u only respond to d proper situations. State of economy is never a factor to deter war, rated it may propel it. China would never attack the u.s because of north korea,not when its economy is waxing strong and She's on track to overtake the US as the next superpower. Worse case scenario is;
North Korea attacks the South citing the military drills as an excuse, South Korea already at the limit of their patience retaliates( not before all its citizens find themselves bomb shelters), the US gives the South military support with its nuclear submarines at the ready, China and Russia gives North Korea covert support while accusing the US of interference but ultimately glad to watch the US and its allies sucked deep into a war they neither want nor need with their economies already on its knees, and with the world distracted, Iran speeds up its nuclear activities for a possible onslaught on Israel.

whose interest exactly? Trust me, in economic terms the last thing the world needs right now is WW3. I have to wonder what NK stands to gain by these patently provocative acts.

we already know that's its a nuclear power.

there are no signs that the US is planningan attack on them anytime soon.

You make sense. What i think will cause full scale commotion is when theres a string of terror attacks in the U.S then U.S now faces Iran.

I must have personally singled you out for your mere speculations or mediocrity (sarcasm). Do you really think i care about what you write?. By the way, i find it rather amusing that you seem to think i have a problem with people's hypothetical ideas/ fantasies of war.
Like i said earlier, we are all entittled to our own ideas. Every man to his/her own views or should i say hypothetical phenomenon in your case.
