Job Title: School Director

Location: Ogun state

Job Description
The school director is the chief executive of the institution. He/She oversees the overall operations of the schools and has and command responsibility over the students’ population growth, school personnel/staff, revenue generation, and physical facility. The school director plans and executes plans, but may sometimes delegate authority and responsibility though he/she needs to check on the delegated tasks from time to time, as he/she is still accountable for the tasks though they may have been properly delegated.

Responsibilities
- Make sure that employees are given high-quality human resource development programs and activities to enhance each individual continuous growth and development in carrying out their profession.
- Make sure that students receive fair and just treatment from every employee.
- Organize student groups to enhance their extra scholastic capabilities.
- Organize parents association so the parents and guardians can also actively participate in the programs and projects of the school.
- Manage the different operations of the school and make sure that each one meets the goals, objectives, and standards set.
- Attend meetings at different levels as called for.
- Make sure that school facilities and equipment are always in good condition and protected for the optimum benefit of the students, employees as well as parents.
- Innovatively going against the norms to birth disruption.
- Manage school funds transparently.
- Make accurate reports regularly.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Must be passionate about education and how young people are educated.
- An educational related degree (a minimum of a Bachelors's degree) or a relevant post-graduate degree/professional qualification will also be an advantage.
- Must be long term focused.
- Minimum cognate and working experience of at least 4 years, preferably & at least 2 years in a school management position
- Must have a critical understanding of the most effective teaching, learning and behavior management strategies, including how to select and use approaches that personalize learning to provide opportunities for all learners to achieve their potential.
- Be innovative and can work largely unsupervised taking initiative.
- Have extensive and deep knowledge and understanding of subjects/curriculum areas.
- Have extensive knowledge on matters concerning equality, inclusion, and diversity in teaching and learning.
- Have an excellent ability to provide learners, colleagues, parents, and carers with timely, accurate and constructive feedback on learners’ attainment, progress and areas for development that promotes pupil progress.
- Leadership and effective supervisory skills, Performance evaluation skills.
- Team building skills, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
- Strong People management skills.

Salary: Negotiable.
