This is what I have just discovered (I stand to be corrected) I was one of the students that did IT(industrial training) this year and as it should be, we were supposed to be paid by the S.I.W.E.S (students industrial working experience scheme).

However barely a month or so as we've registered for the IT someone posted it here that some students have started receiving alert from S.I.W.E.S but ,some students here said they were yet to receive anything including me even some that did theirs years back said they were not paid. So, I started asking anyone I know From my school (Enugu State University of Science and Technology)
Doing the same IT if they have been paid but they said no and I was like ok let's keep our fingers crossed and keep hoping they pay us.

And now, we are through with the IT and no payment yet and we're asked to submit our log book, when I submitted mine and I was given a form to correct my Bank details, I was surprised; because when I registered for the program I made sure I filled everything correctly: my bank account, bank location, sort code everything.

The form contains all the names of all our students in my department and their bank details, and the column for sort code is blank, so when checking for my name I found out that everyone who submitted before me corrected their bank details, when I found my name the account number is completely different even my Bank location wasn't the same I filled during the registration, I decided to check other students from other faculty and everyone were just correcting their bank details. And I was like, how can this be? so all students didn't correctly filled their bank details or my I'm missing something.

So my brothers and sisters if you did your IT and you were not paid, know that someone changed your bank details and collected your money.
