Hypocritical Standards On Christmas Celebration . by MizJanet(f): 11:36am On Dec 18, 2019 |
Every year, Christians all over the world discuss if Christmas is wrong or right . The argument of those who says it's wrong is that it has pagan sources which they have history to back it up or that none of his first chosen disciples and consequential ones found in the book of Acts actually did so, But the argument of those who supported Christmas is that they are not celebrating a pagan custom but Jesus himself , that it's just a way to celebrate their Lord and Savior often times they quote Romans 14:5 One person regards one day holier than other days, and another regards them all alike. Each must be fully convinced in his own mind. They focus on each be fully convinced in his own mind . But here is where am going, the hypocritical standard exhibited by this so called Christians towards other religion holy days forgeting this ones too are person's who regard one day as holy . A) Would a Christian participate in Ramadan fasting days ? Which the Muslims view as holy . B) If a profess born again Christian eats food and dine with Muslims during Ileya festivals, Is it appropriate ? Don't forget this are holy days too . C) Can a so called born again join Hindus Diwali festival of lights , an Holy day ? I can go on and on The essence of this thread is, on what basis does Romans 14:5 Justify Christmas but not other holy days ? - Mizjanet |
