Certain prerequisites must be in place ahead of this happening.

Paramount amongst these is that the country is first restructured and each region must already be self governing and have its own independent Constitution.

The North can then impose Shariah in the Northern Constitution and be under its governance.

What about northern minorities?
We've Christians in Borno, Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe. Bauchi, Kaduna, Plateau, Benue, Nasarawa, Niger, Kwara and Kogi.

Metaphysical,

Be careful now, you may get more than what you ask for. The Southerners have asked for:

Military Government

Liberal Market to import all types of junk

Unitary Government

One Nigeria without clause for a region to opt out

More?

In each case the "One North" has taken advantage of including creation of Forex billionaires.

MP, MP, MP how many times did I call you?

Please OP should answer some basic questions.
1. Will this law cover Christians and non muslims in a Muslim dominated area?
2. How does the constitution determine who is a Muslim and who isn't when a criminal is caught and about to be charged?
3. Who is a Muslim by constitution?
4. If while maintaining Christianity as status, I molest your sister or close female relative in the morning and I am caught in the act then docked, can I accept Islam before being charged and still be taken to a open court as against Sharia court?
5. In event of a conflict with constitution, can sharia override constitution?
6. Will the handlers of sharia court be elected by non muslims if they can judge cases affecting non muslims?
7. How does one Muslim hold the right to interpret the Quran for another Muslim?
8. Who handles a case involving a Muslim against a non Muslim? Sharia or open court.

The duplication of law is clearly a potent recipe for unimaginable anarchy and I wonder why anyone would try to hijack a belief system like sharia advocates are doing. God help us in Nigeria.

There is a reason why people don't do change of religion when they convert, that's because religion is just a belief system towards the edification of the spirit man or the spirit of man. It is a link or channel to the unseen realm. We are taking it too far when we start having talk like what OP is supporting. A law is a central entity and common denominator for orderly society that cannot be duplicated talk less of being open to numerous interpretations.

OP is indirectly asking for the country's dissolution.
I don't know anyone who wants to pay tax to fund the Sharia lifestyle of others.
Nigeria law must be binding on everyone unless we are no longer a country.

There is nothing you say that will ever redeem you from the legacy of bringing this evil tyrant to power. Nobody cares about all this noise you are making. Just bury your head in shame because the cursed tyrant has turned out to be a curse even for your own region. Nonsense.

You are talking restructuring to these satanic bastards? Who then is a lost case, you or them?

Just enjoy your change quietly.

If i knew this thread will cause your arthritis to act up i would have saved it for another day. Sorry, you hear? Doo!

You brought this monster to power when you failed to bring out the beat in Jonathan. Your negligence caused us to look elsewhere for relief.

We must all enjoy this relief together. grin grin
