Nigeria Millitary intimidation, how do you respond to it. by vaxx1: 6:06am On Dec 24, 2019
it has occur to me, millitary men wave unnecessary power in Nigeria, they carry out their domestic violence even at the slightest amount of provocation.

A friend of mine just report to me how a soldier came with four of his men to beat the hell out of him for telling one of them to stop smoking marijuana in front of his house, this I think is insane for a country that is under civilian watch.

so Nigerians here, what is the best way to deal with millitary intimidation , particularly as regards to this one . I recently learn police hardly arrest soldier in Nigeria even if they are caught smoking weed .

This can happen to anybody.....

You should have called the soldier in order instead of coming to report on NL.. You may still look for him and give him dirty slap to reset his brains.

Then, you can come back and tell us what happened next

with people like you the country is irredeemable. Worshipping law inforcement agencies and military personel like they are gods. For your information I have many as friends and even relations and I know that the only difference between them and you is the gun. As a matter of fact some of them are very dull

See, it is better to overlook some things than digging unnecessary trouble.. Like I told someone yesterday, the more you go out, the more you are vulnerable to whatever.

Your friends is not the only one affected, why can't the other people also called the soldier in order?

Give Caesar what belongs to Caesar

like seriously, this has been the response of many people as well. so in Nigeria, millitary intimidation is unchecked and can't be treated . good luck to Nigerians in this kind of mess.

This is not about Military.. Have you been to government established office before to make an enquiry about something before? Except it shows you get some money, if not the workers will treat you like thrash

How do lecturers treat their students?

Mind you, the said soldiers might be among those who are calling Buhari Tyrants. In Africa, we see some abnormal things as normal..

Not everything you can do anything about

Good reply , the funniest thing, some of them rely on team work. they actually might be brought down by ordinary agbero boys on a single one and one fight ... but the fabric of intimidation is a garment Nigeria millitary wear , no one dares them.

Don't add it up, we are talking about civilian vs millitary on matter of intimidation. You are only saying , nothing any civilian can do on the matter of injustice by Nigeria millitary even in this era of democracy ...

You have already conclude justice doesn't work with the millitary even if it end up in death. Good luck to Nigerians , thankfully I live in a country with a civil orders, where police can arrest the soldiers just like any other civilians who break civilian rules and regulations......

Your tone of comment here suggests you are not Nigerian. Are you Ghanaian?

"So in Nigeria"
"Goodluck to Nigerians"

Sound like something a non Nigerian would say in this context.

The NIA is a respectable body who mostly mind their own business. We abhor lawlessness and people who portray such. There is no Nigerian soldier in uniform who would be caught smoking in public.

Your friend has not told you the truth. Either that or you are spinning a story for sake of conversation. Either way you need to desist

Onething I have noticed about them is that they are very lazy, most of them can't challenge local man in a one on one combat on the street. The only difference between local man and them is their gun nothing else.....When e reach to fight dem go dey call for backup and the next thing you will see is hilux loaded with kolofo soldiers. Make dem nor just try dat rubbish come my side cos I go make sure I track that particular soldier down and send him to his ancestors. They don't have two heads, Nigerians should just man up to stop the incessant intimidation

i am giving you a first hand information. for matter of security , I can even forward the video to you. . Actually, the millitary only used its position to bully my friend as a millitary men. nothing more. the guy according to my friend was like a temporal guardians to some Yahoo boys ( as they called it) they used them to protect themselves from police embarrassment as it is common phenomenon in Nigeria. the guy came as usual to protect the Yahoo boys but this time around decide to smoke around the neighbourhood, and my friend came out to tell him to move away from his compound but the instruction didn't sink well for the solder as he was willing to demonsrate his new trainning on my friend. which he did with other four boys.

If you are done with your subtle Nigeria vs Ghana comparison you can now move on to issues that concern the country where you say you live.

Last video I watched about Ghana was a German woman who had been scammed by a sakawa boy (Ghanaian yahoo boy) and she was saying she still loved the guy.

Your people are diabolical scammers which is a common phenomenon in Ghana with your police focused on collecting bribes from everyone (this Is also another common phenomenon in Ghana). Focus on dealing with such issues and not issues about a country you apparently do not live in.

Good morning

This is absolutely unintelligent of you ... you may walk away if you don't have any contribution... what is relationship between Ghana and sakawa on this issue?

but to let you know, the case has been taken up. and the Nigeria solder Aka ( mombasa) as he called himself has started feeling the heat he just beat who is stronger than him.. ..

in europe you hardly see military personnel roaming the street.

even if they do, they'd be damned if they lay their hands on a civilian.

even the police on the street gun is hardly seen visibly on them except in rare cases.

but here they carry gun around on the street to threaten harmless citizen like it's gun parade

how can a police be flashing gun about when dealing with a harmless person, but hide it and run when dealing with armed criminals

You can now focus on issues concerning your country and try to sound intelligent when you do. The unintelligence you exhibited here made me easily know you are not Nigerian because Nigerians are not this unintelligent

It's not a crime, but you have to be very careful when dealing with a military man.
