America is not a democracy. I repeat America is not a democracy.... IT IS A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. The founders created the electoral college so that 2 states (like New York and California) due to over population cannot just determine the political outcome in presidential elections thereby neglecting “middle America”

This is what is driving some liberals insane because they want only California and the New England area to produce the president because of the majority of electorates who reside in those areas... so what happens to Oklahoma, Tennessee and the rest of the rust belt?
