What seems to be a restored hope is gradually becoming a sad story to federal government workers all over the federation. We could recall that since Monday the 30th December 2019, a larger percentage of federal workers have been receiving credit alerts which is assumed to be payment of the new minimum wage areas as promised by the federal government.
Consequently, that gesture restored hope to federal government workers believing that the federal government is concerned about thier welfare. Unfortunately there have been rumours circulating all over the social media that the said alerts is an error as a result of malfunctioning payment system from the ippis office.
As a concerned Nigeria citizen, in as much as I believe that human error is no respcter of any man and can occur at any time, I also strongly believe that this kind is unacceptable.
The office of the accountant general of the federation is too sensitive for such mess with the calibre of experienced professionals drafted to handle payment of workers salaries. Though we are yet to see any circular from either the accountant general's office or ippis office to either confirm or debunk the rumour but from the look of things it is obvious that something is cooking and if care is not taken can lead to another civil war.
I wish to submit here that if the said rumour becomes a fact then the leadership of Nigerian nation is a failed one. There is no explanation by those in-charge of our national treasury that will be reasonable enough to accept a national embarrassment of this magnitude. I do not only see it as an act of mismanagement of funds but also as fraud and those responsible for that error are capable of jeopardizing the entire economy of this nation. On this note, I hereby call on the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, President Mohammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency, on confirming the urthenticity of the rumour issue a sack letter to the accountant general of the federation, the head of ippis and those in-charge of the payment system for thier incapability to manage the national treasury and public funds thereby resulting into national embarrassment. They should afterwards be handed over to the EFCC for prosecution.
The federal government should note that this is an act of gross misconduct perpetrated by self centred public servants and aimed at defrauding the federal government of Nigeria which must not go unpunished.
If otherwise as stated, the federal government should not hesitate to put preventive measures in place against such.
God bless the federal republic of Nigeria.

That's how the chop. It occurs anything they are doing bulk payment. They create the system failure to pay off huge sums to some known accounts and claim it is system failure.

You would have made sense but the part where you said "would lead to civil war" just spoilt everything.

Pls, how will such mistake lead to civil war? And who will fight the civil war? Who vs who? Is it civil servants vs govt? As in hurling weapons against themselves?
