The truth is that a lot of people on this forum have written their 2020 goals. The reality is that most of them will end up doing nothing by Dec. 31 2020. Others will use SCAM SCAM SCAM to make themselves not make progress and this will affect others. I am not saying it is wrong to cry foul when something happens. But one has to double check and verify who you are doing business with before sending money. This is 2020, let us all be wise.

So to the discussion of the day, Dropshipping 2020. Start your ecommerce business without Stocking Products. Some people call this scam because they do not understand how it works. Let me explain;

Dropshipping is an ecommerce business that enables one to sell products without having those products in their possession. Most of the time it is the supplier that delivers the product to the customer. For a long time, dropshipping has been trending in foreign countries until it arrived Nigeria 2years ago. People have been making money off it. The trend is growing fast and there will be a lot of ecommerce business that will ride on Dropshipping in this Year 2020. When you order today, chances are that where you purchased that product doesn't have that product available to them.

Some of the website used for dropshipping includes, Aliexpress, eBay, Alibaba. These are th three major platforms people use to engage in dropshipping. People did it manually by copying and pasting to their webiste and fixing price. It became cumbersome. Then it gave rise to platforms like Shopify. There has been a lot of successes recorded by people using Shopify.

How Shopify Works
First you may decide to begin with the 14days trial or purchase a subsciption right away for a minimum of $29/month. Then you will access all the tools available to build your store. Once you have finished setting up your store, you begin importing products from Aliexpress and other platforms. This is how most people have been making a hell of money from ecommerce and dropshipping.

On the contrary, due to certain limitations Nigerians have not been able to enjoy the service Shopify renders because of the N10,400 monthly subscription. The question becomes why would one pay N10,400 monthly and having the possibility of not generating sales. However, there are some Nigerians still on Shopify. But all that has changed. There are lots of Big online stores one can dropship from. They include Konga, Jumia etc.

I tried dropshipping a few months ago, like every other human who wanted to do more money while being left without a job in this horrible pandemic. Needless to say, I failed. Many, many times.
