Hey guys

To all the English smartees and grammarians

Please confirm if this phrase is constructed properly.

"Where do you base?"

I've always favoverd "where are you based?" and considered the first phrase quite incorrect and a total turnoff until i read where my favorite gurl pocohantas used it. I've tried disecting it but e no still sweet for my mouth.

So guys pls tell me is this phrase correct?

What wrong use of words/phrases put you off?

Be kind enough to share with us
