There's no enough evidence for dis claim , no POS in d scene,,, Police have d right to confirm ATM card if suspected to be a stolen ATM card and secondly no police officer is stupid enough to use someone's else ATM card to withdraw money in front of dat crowed ... Let's not use hatred for all police cases as we still have some good ones among them... I have seen so many cases of ATM card thieves who forcefully stole someone's else ATM with pin code to steal the money,,, pls let's not b too quick for judgement

Their Oga knows about this. They have a target they must remit to their heads. I was in a police station last December and I know what I am talking about.
somebody told me in my dream that their ogas share the money with them and if you come back to the station without enough money your squad will be replaced..,On the federal and state roads you will see them collecting 20 or 50 from motorists At times they keep their money with another officer not in a mufti for sharing later. The officer will sit close to them on the road.Additionally they arrange changes as you need them 150 200 450 etc changes for motorists that give them the high denominations.......I am still looking for the man that told me all these in my dreams.

Is it Nigeria Police fraud?
If they are not killing innocent citizens, they are extorting them. I'm not even sure they are not robbing and kidnapping. Because the operation of kidnappers recently seems like they are either in partnership with Nigeria police fraud or are being trained by them.

Said this on twitter last year, same idiots who always insult when they reply comments came online to tell me how stupid I was

This was relating to why police has not been reformed and I said police won't be reformed because from thr police academy to thr IGP there's a process of money flow which can't be stopped

At least the myth that one person will stop corruption has been debunked, we all know that corruption can only be curbed if we all stand up against it.

Have you ever eavesdropped on policemen discussing?
All they talk about is money and nothing else -
-how one wants to be posted to somewhere so that he can be getting "something"
-how that guy was a fool and refused to settle oga and they stopped posting him out.
-Another will be bragging on how he doesn't take nonsense as he collects nothing less than 2000 naira when he confiscates a keke napep.
-How one oga collected someone's money for promotion and retired the next week.
- How they love mopol because they cooperate e.g if mopol sees someone on the road with large amount of money they can just finish the person and take the money and also finish off any of their colleague t Ihat tries to claim holy and oppose them.

All these things I have heard with my own ears
what you said is very true... especially the mopol part .my dad is a retired cop and he told me how his own colleagues almost killed him because he refused sharing money they seized from someone at road block while on night duty..he said he couldn't blink his eyes all through the night..the Nigerian police needs better orientation and alot of bad eggs needs to be weeded out for them to start functional as they ought to..funny enough these same police men are from the society.thats you and I..so maybe it's a societal thing too

Ubiquitous checkpoints.

That's another type of Jihad unleashed by Buhari cabal against Eastern Nigerians.

Report them to police Twitter handle and tag relevant people for prompt action. undecided

Internet has become our best bet for justice in Nigeria.

Who will ever act on any report?
It's like asking people to report Boko Haram fighters and armed Fulani herdsmen to the twitter handle of police or to Buhari govt.

After police command will tell us that the matter is being investigated like the one Borno state governor caught some soldiers extorting from motorists the army said the matter is being investigated. Investigation that will not see light of the day. Corruption has taken a new level in this dispensation. It is every where in this clime.

Believe me Nigerians are ready to stand up to corruption. We just need one strong incorruptible leader who is ready to step on toes and stand up to corruption
