Good evening Nairalanders.

Trust this message meets you well.

Please I'll need to get some clarifications about an issue.

Sometimes back in Year one in school, I misplaced my original birth certificate. However I still possess the photocopy.

Fast forward to graduation and having rounded up my service year, I got a job. My confirmation for this job, which is due this January entails me providing my original birth certificate amongst other.

Please Kindly advise on what steps to take to regularize this issue.

I'll appreciate inputs from those with same or similar experiences and how they were able to get it sorted out.

Thank you

Say you misplaced it and get an affidavit in a court or simply just get a declaration of age in the court.. Should be 2k
