No but there is something called restrain.

It is not weakness it is divine strength imagine living with a house hold with this kind of dialogue and how on eggshells wives or children may be because you need something and he is not in the right frame of mind to give you.

CEO Of A Fitness Centre Slams Customer For Complaining Of Poor Services

CEO Of a fitness centre in lekki talks brutally to the customer who complains about their poor services as she asked of a refund of her money.

Thanks for sharing

Of course he possibly could have restrained himself and we don't know the full story yet. But he has a point: customers do have responsibilities

A false sense of entitlement just because one has paid for a service isn't fair to service providers.

(Not many people seem to be concerned about the behaviour she displayed which Ebun called insane )

This man should be commended for even allowing her record him

With "customers" like these, who needs village people?

The phrase “The customer is always right” was originally coined in 1909 by Harry Gordon Selfridge, the founder of Selfridge’s department store in London, and is typically used by businesses to convince customers that they will get good service at this company and convince employees to give customers good service.
Here are the top five reasons why “The Customer Is Always Right” is wrong.
Here are some of the reasons why customers are not always right

1.Using the slogan “The customer is always right,” abusive customers can demand just about anything — they’re right by definition, aren’t they? This makes the employees’ jobs that much harder when trying to rein them in.
Also, it means that abusive people get better treatment and conditions than nice people.

2.Some Customers Are Bad for Business : Most businesses think that “the more customers the better”. But some customers are quite simply bad for business.

I don’t but saying she’s not a customer is wrong that said something about the guy that was interesting he is a nice guy he was pushed to the limit but that’s classic NPD nice in public wicked in private blames victim

I’ve been to gyms around the world there is a customer service department to handle refunds separate from upper management for cases like this. He could have handled it better and sadly the support he is getting from men on how to address a woman is not surprising some are even rejoicing he didn’t hit her but he also entered her personal space pointing and coming close there is also an acceptable distance in any confrontation without a camera I feel he would have done worse

You can walk a person out of your office without yelling and almost developing a heart attack in the process. He has some anger management issues that should be worked on, not just for the sake of the business but for relationships in his personal life as well.

You don't know me thus you don't know what I've experienced or not. I started my working career in 1984, probably before you were born, and worked plus owned businesses over 3 continents. I've seen a thing or two.

And yet, you fail to realise that everyone can have an off day where one is already angry and then, a customer does something both illegal and stupid.

You are an armchair theorist.

Easier said than done.

I have worked for many many years in my life. For about 10 years, I have never lost my temper with a customer.

That is until a debtor....an owing customer called me a thief and that he would not settle his debts until I apologise to him and give him some more goods on credit. He said all that while tapping my chest. I almost strangled that man to death. It was police arrest that forced him to pay his debts and get sense.

Once in ten years. I lost my temper once in 10 years. The lesson is that everyone has an off day and in Nigeria, there would be idiots who will push you to the limit.

I am really amazed at the comments I've read and how people are justifying and giving excuses for him. This has nothing to do with gender as some have turned it to. Male or female, anyone exhibiting this behaviour has anger management issues.

Why are you trying to educate these people? They are the same people that sit back while politicians screw them year after year, the same people that cheat their fellow man because it is the 9ja way. How do you expect such people to know about corporate image and the responsibilities of a CEO? If it's not BB Naija or some useless sh*t, they don't care....lol.

Exactly! In a sane country, if such a video ever made it online, that CEO/company will suffer major loss and a possible lawsuit by the customer. Even if the customer was a jerk, the best thing to do is to get the authorities involved when the behavior becomes threatening or bullying like he said.

False.

First, the CEO in the videp called the police.

Secondly, if it was in the uk, nothing would have happened to the business of it was later explained that the customer was stealing items from.the gym

From the video it does not show that he called the police, from the video it does not show that the customer stole anything so where are you getting your facts from? This is a gym for christ sake and the customer walked into his office obviously discontent with the level of service. The customer might have ben rude or could not operate the equipments properly but let's not turn this into false allegations. wE always love to blame the victim in this country this is why so many things are upside down, a CEO must not degrade himself to the level of having a shouting match with a customer, it is way beneath him.

In the video, the CEO stated that he had already called the police.

Secondly, manypeople on twitter have attested to the CEO's usual calm demeanor.

Thirdly, I saw an update that stated that the customer was debited for stealing gym.towels
