CYMS Congratulates Sen. Hope Uzodinma Over Victory At The Supreme Court

The Director General, Committee Of Youth On Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) Comrade Obinna Nwaka has congratulated Sen. Hope Uzodinma over his declaration by the Supreme Court as the rightful winner of the 2019 Imo state Governorship election and described the apex court’s verdict as a just one.

In a statement issued by the CYMS's Director Media and publicity, Comrade Otobong Gabriel yesterday in Abuja, Nwaka said that the outcome is yet a renewed hope that the judiciary remained a great arm of government that right all wrongs, " Nwaka who has been following up with the proceedings from day 1 of the aftermath of the blood day electoral rubbery to the last meeting of the judgment hailed the Supreme Court for been resolute to correct all the wrongs in the electoral process.


Nwaka however said that Sen. Hope Uzodinma is a party man who has worked tirelessly for the success of the APC at all levels across the nooks and crannies of Nigeria” he is a detribalised, just and passionate Nigerian committed to the unity and progress of the country and called on all the supporters especially the youths, APC faithful, and the entire Imolites to see the victory as a ladder to the next level of economic prosperity and continue to Support Hope Uzodinma in the discharge of his democratic governance to enable him to provide them with the needed dividends of democracy and development in the state and ensure that APC is entrenched in Imo state and the entire South East.

While seeking God’s assistance for the new Imo state Governor to pilot the affairs of the State, he urged Sen. Uzodinma to be the ‘Governor’ of all irrespective of political affiliations. “With this Supreme Court Verdict, you are the governor of all the Imolites irrespective of political affiliations, “ he said.
