There is one GOD, and He is GOD alone: “Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I, the Lord? And there is no other God besides Me, A just God and a Savior; There is none besides Me.” - Isaiah 45:21 (Deuteronomy 32:39, Isaiah 43:11, Hosea 13:4)… yet… the Lord GOD gives us insight to Him as existing in three distinct Persons:

Clearly, the Lord JESUS – the Son, the Word (John 1:1-3) – was praying to the Holy Father. The Holy Father addresses the Son as well (Psalm 2:8, Psalm 45: 6, Psalm 110:1, Matthew 22:44). It is communion at the highest level, respect, and an example for us. In all His works, the Lord JESUS shows us what we should be doing, saying, etc.

GOD is GOD, and “God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.” - Psalm 62:11. We should not even worry about such questions.

While the word “trinity” does not appear in the holy Bible, know that trinity means “a group of three people or things.” or “the state of being three…God is said to be trinity in unity." “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.” - 1 John 5:7

Please remember that our greatest concern should not be with contending about the nature and power of the Almighty, but rather how we can obtain mercy from Him, escaping the death that we all (as human beings) were sentenced to when this world fell from Adam.
