i'm here wondering why there is a general notion that all soldier can beat up a civilian in a fair fist contest.
what are your thoughts ? and have you had talks like this within your friends ?

Soldiers have advantage of gun, thats it! Without gun they will not dare try attack a civilian.

If civilians were armed soldiers will be afraid of an encounter with us.

Most people cant fight. An average soldier just has a little bit of basic combat skills. In a fight it can go either way depending how experienced the civilian is. If they're in good shape and know how to fight there's a good chance they'll win.
