I know your time is valuable. But, if you can stay with me to the end, I will share with you the simple but powerful techniques you can deploy right away to landing your first job on Upwork.

Most times, we don't put our creativity to work.

Infact, we think, since we are in a standard environment like Upwork, we must behave or think on a very high frequency while forgetting these simple ones!

Or that we must continue to be confined in reasoning the way the formality of that environment has conditioned our brain!

What if I share with you now, a technique you could use to get your first job rolling immediately, how would you feel?

How much money would you want to make and what type of life would you live with that money?

Okay, before you get excited, let me tell you this..

This technique is what Danny called the "Crystal ball Technique" which was used in Copywriting skill on Upwork but..

You can use this technique in whatever skill you have as a writer, graphic designer, translator, accountant, lawyer, web designer, app developer and what a view.

So, enough of talk... Let's get into it!

Here is the thing, this technique is just a simple; DO IT YOURSELF AND HAND IT OVER TO THEM.

What do I mean about that?

Chill, I will explain in a bit..

A lot of the time, newbies on Upwork get scared or wonder how long it would take them to get their first job just because..

THEY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING IN THEIR PORTFOLIOS to show their clients.

Or they get worried on how they don't have any work experience or job format to send along with a proposal to show clients that they are competent in handling the job.

Meanwhile, all these are not excuses to your unproductivity because, you can actually launch your creativity to work.

LAUNCH YOUR CREATIVITY TO WORK...?? YES.... That's exactly what I just said.

HOW?

Okay, follow me, here, you will see in minutes...

You can launch your creativity to work by doing these few things below:

1.) Study the simple and short jobs being posted every 10 seconds on Upwork that you can do which won't take you much time to complete for clients.

2.) Understand the job description well: you need to know EXACTLY what is required of you in getting the job done.

3.) Make research on GOOGLE or any search engine and create a SIMILAR sample of what the client needs.

Notice I said SIMILAR not the exact copy of what your client needs, so you won't do a FREE job for them without getting payed.

And even it's not allowed to do a free job for clients on Upwork.

For example: if the job requires you to give 5 NATURAL ways to cure pimples.

You can research about other health issues like "3 Natural Ways To Cure Boils" or similar health issues and provide just 3 out of the 5.

Remember, this is a SAMPLE not original work.

And you must be able to create it within 30 to 45 minutes at most.

The point you're trying to proof here is to get the client understand that you're competent to get the job done.

So, you can create this SAMPLE with your WPS app on Android device, or with GOOGLE DOCS and save it as DOCX or PDF file.

Next is...

4.) Ready To write your proposal:

A lot of people make this mistake of writing about themselves in their proposals instead of focusing on the client.

They use the word "I" more than "You", for example; I am this, I am that, instead of focusing on the subject matter; the client and the job.

Your 100% focus should be on the client and what he/she needs you to get done.

In your opening, relate to the client, that you understood perfectly what you're to do and if possible SUGGEST one of the best solutions to get the job done.

When you do this, you have positioned yourself as the best candidate for the job.

Plus, attach your SAMPLE file you created earlier and tell the client to check out the sample file attached to your proposal.

If you do these things well, I bet you will get reply and you both can further the discussion and eventually the goddess of luck will be in your favour.

These are the few tips I wanted to share with you and I really hope it helps you as a newbie on Upwork.

And if you're interested in becoming a member on Upwork but you don't know where to start or how to get your account approved, you don't have to bother yourself, just call for help immediately.
