Beware Of This Online Scammer Ifeanyi Christian Nwosu A.k.a Trapo by MosesSimon: 1:17pm On Jan 24, 2020
This man Ifeanyi Christian Nwosu ran off with our money after we made an installmental payment for a phone which was our agreement. He decided to block our numbers and refused to reply our text messages after 24hrs of payment. I do not understand why Nigerians go the route of scamming people just to make a living and this right here is one of the reasons why other countries don't do business with us. Kindly reply this thread if you know any way we can find or locate him. Thank you.

For the fact people from other countries don't do online business with Nigerians should let you know you don't suppose to do online business with your fellow Nigerians,
How can you be paying money to a person you can't catch?

What if his profile is not real and he's using fake pictures?

Go report to the station if the money worth it,
or forget it if the money doesn't worth much to avoid police taking much from you.

I'd contact him via the number you sent. I appeal to more Nigerians reading this to do the same, let me see how many of us he would block.

1. Your point one is very wrong. The world is watching to see how other Nigerians like you and I would react to this. Criminal activities happen in every country but in saner climes, the majority of the people are proactive in bringing the perpetrators to book. Everyone has a sense of responsibility towards preventing and/or bring crime to book

2. The second point - Yes he should report it to the police so that the number would be traced and the criminal brought to book. But what do you mean by forget it if the money doesn't worth much? That doesn't make sense. The problem with undeveloped countries like Nigeria is the lack of "a sustainability mindset". So "if the money isn't worth it" and there was something the OP could do to bring the criminal to book, he just leave it and leave the criminal to continue to scam others victims - since "the money isn't worth it"?? And do you think someone that dupes another of a hundred naira wouldn't do the same for a million if the chance presented?

You write as if you're not a Nigerian in Nigeria,

I can bet my balls that the police will do nothing to help the victim if he report it them,
The police will be looking for ways to collect more money from the victim because they will consider the victim a fool.

That's why we are here to follow up, and ensure that one of us gets justice

I've messaged the scammer, giving him ten minutes grace to reach out to OP, otherwise, I'd take it up. He deactivated his WhatsApp number afterwards.

Go to the police to get a police report, take it to the bank and report the account number, it would be blocked and when he comes to make a complaint he would be apprehended.

I’m Ifeanyi Christian Nwosu, first of all the money in question is 15k who makes this kind of post over 15k If they didn’t have a plan that didn’t go through.

This guy is complaining here and his team is actually the scammer and I can prove it.

Tell the people the truth.

I actually came up here to make it clear cause this guy and his team think they’re smart. He wasn’t even the one texting me or the guy who almost scammed me. This guy name Cyprian texted me begging me and saying I should send him phones and he will pay in 3 months time. The phone are iPhone XS, Xs Max and Iphone 11. They said I should send the phones and they’d send me an installment payment and later In 3 months time they’d send the rest. They said they’d send me 50k for installment So later in the morning which I was supposed to send the phone I asked them for money for Waybill and the installment payment. They sent only 15k and said i should send those 3 costly iPhones with 15k and when they receive it they’d send me the 50k which was not our deal. I told them I was not interested anymore and sent his 15k back later in the evening and the money Got reversed. Instead of him relaxing so I can send it again. He started sending threats and saying a lot of things. I was surprised cause I now understood they were trying to scam me and when I didn’t go on with the scam they got really pissed and wanted the 15k. So I told them “I will send the money back but only if they apologize for trying to scam me and admit to what they were planning on doing” he said he wouldn’t do such. I told him I’ve given him my own rule. I’ll send the money when he apologizes and admit to what he was trying to do but one of them rushed here to paint me a fraud when they’re the fraud. If you want your 15k back apologize and admit to what you wanted to do and if I don’t send it back then call me a scammer anywhere!. I can’t believe someone I trusted so much and the way they kept begging me to send the phones that they’d pay me in months time. That I should add more money to the phone but they’d pay me with interest. But they can’t wait a day to call me a scammer. All I need is an apology and admitting to what was really clear, then I will send you 30k ‍♂️. 15k is change to me.

IPhone XS Max- 230k
IPhone XS- 170k
IPhone 11-300k

And you expect me to send those phones with just 15k!!!!!!!!

Do I look dumb?
I can’t read to know when People are trying to scam me?

You didn’t send any installment payment like you said you’d

You sent only money for Waybill and expect me to rush and send phones to you.
