Because they are jealous and just shady.  Like alot of men, women like to compete too.  And when they see someone they "want" and have no moral values at all and insecure amoung "other" things, they move in for the "kill".  Then some wonder why the guy they just took, don't trust them and end up using/dumping them and get with somebody.  I don't know why some people feel men and women think you do something negative and expect positive results.
