I have seen a lot of husbands and Wives that stay apart because of one reason or the other,may be job locations, search for greener pastures etc.It can be inter state or different countries. Some do meet on quarterly basis,some half a year, a year, years etc. This no doubt affects negatively on their love affairs but most of them hardly accept that fact.

Some of the close ones I know when jokingly ask them how do they cope when the sexual feelings with their partner is much, almost all of them will respond " E no easy oo but na God be our strength " Wetin man go do na other than to dey bear it,that's what I do or we do,we dey hold our body till we meet ,bla bla" None has ever accepted that he or she are into adultery by keeping a side woman or man that is satisfying him or her in absence of husband or wife being apart.

However,I have heard where many were as well caught in the act,I also shockingly read some write ups in which the the writer(s) by research said that at least 70 to 80 percent of couple staying apart engage in adultery( chop and clean mouth). It is not every man or woman can bear hearing that his wife or her husband is having sex with another person or had it with another person.
Please how true is that almost all couple that stay apart engage in adultery as I am scared of staying apart from my family.

you people just over hype sex.

my Wife was outside the country for 5 years. i focused all my energy at making money. Flew out to see her twice every year.

Those 5 years gave me the strong financial support i have today.

But the thread says majority not all, the fact you are an exception doesn't mean that all couples are or will be like you, so slow your balls.

It is a "hidden truth" whether you believe it or not, but dont expect them to publicize it.I have encountered a lady suffering from "excessive konji "whose husband is abroad, she tried all means to lure me into sex but I refused until she open up and tell me pointblank to make love with her that " she be human being and can't bear it as the husband is outside the country and many other instances.Same applies to men.

It mostly applies to Men. I dont know but women just know how to hold themselves. Observed from my past neighbours.

Even spouses who work in the same vicinity manage to cheat, let alone those working in different cities, don't even mention spouses abroad.
As long as you know your partner's tendency, you will be able to do what's best for your marriage.
