i know of some families that the fathers show more love to d children they feel are doing exactly what they want and the others are loved by their mothers,then the kids start having dislikes for each other.

yup. very bad idea too. it makes siblings hate each other when a parent is favoring one over the other. one tends to feel inadequate and unloved. parents need to quit that shit. they don't realize this sort of thing has psychological effects in the long run. angry

you're right, parents tend to side with the child that will do what they wish, as opposed to the "stubborn" one that has a mind of their own. i'm talking from experience. not cool at all. parents should allow their kids think for themselves andhave their own opinons. and quit choosing favorites!

it is human nature to be partial. however, sometimes some parents overdo it and don't know how to handle it. it which escalates the whole issue
