What is wrong with us in Nigeria?. Every House owner in every neighborhood is sinking Borehole indiscriminately at their various compounds. Doesn't this calls for concern?... Is it that there is no official body regulating the Sinking of Boreholes in Nigeria?.

Using my place of residence as a case study. I stay in a street of approximately 40 houses. Believe be 36 of these houses had their various Borehole sank already with proximity of one Borehole to the next just being 25 metre at max...

In my opinion I think just one Borehole should be able to serve every home in the community effectively if things are done and planned well.

Tell me what I don't know.

You are absolutely correct! Unfortunately Nigeria needs an Holistic Restructuring System so as to ensure every household in the country can be supply the necessary amount of water needed for daily consumption, instead of drilling borehole in every houses, because activities such as these, could result to unwarranted seismic activity like earthquake etc... So is equally important after constructing your Homes don't interlock the earth, so that water from Rain etc could easily be absorb back into the earth....

WHEN PUMPING OF WATER CAN BRING CRISES OVER CONTRIBUTIONS FOR FUEL, GENERATOR & PUMP MAINTENANCE, I WOULD RATHER AVOID THE GROUP. EVERYBODY JUST GO THEIR WAYS TRYING TO AVOID THE GROUP BECAUSE THE ONLY THINGS WE CAN CONFIDENTLY ACCOMPLISH COLLECTIVELY IS HYPOCRISY AND WICKEDNESS.

Valid point. The government is to be blamed here.
