Tecno is a popular smartphone brand in many parts of Africa. This is because the brand brings mid-range phones at highly competitive prices. As the mid-range phone market gets more competitive, Tecno has just released two new devices. The devices – Camon 15 and Camon 15 Pro – both come with plenty of AI features.

Tecno Camon 15 Specifications
The Tecno Camon 15 features a 6.55-inch punch-hole display. The punch-hole is at the top-left corner and houses the device’s 16MP AI selfie camera. Around the back is a 48MP AI quad-camera setup. The device comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable by up to 256GB. It supports dual-LTE.



The Tecno Camon 15 runs HiOS V6.0.1 based on Android 10. It sports an anti-oil fingerprint sensor and features Face Unlock 2.0. It has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh with “Safe Charge”.

Tecno Camon 15 Price
The Tecno Camon 15 has a price tag of INR 9,999 (roughly 50,500 Naira). It is available in three color options – Shoal Gold, Fascinating Purple, and Jade. It will be available across stores in India from February 25, 2020.

Tecno Camon 15 Pro Specifications
The Tecno Camon 15 Pro sports a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display. This screen size is slightly short of what the non-Pro version sports. The Camon 15 Pro’s 32MP selfie camera uses a pop-up mechanism. It also sports a 48MP quad-camera setup on the rear. Tecno dubs this setup “Ultra Night Lens”. The phone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.



Just like the non-Pro version, the Tecno Camon 15 Pro runs HiOS V6.0.1. It also sports an anti-oil fingerprint sensor and features Face Unlock 2.0. It supports dual-LTE as well.

The Tecno Camon 15 Pro uses the Helio P35 chipset and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery, smaller than the Camon 15’s battery capacity.

Tecno Camon 15 Pro Price
The Tecno Camon 15 Pro is priced at INR 14,999 (about 76,000 Naira). It is available in Ice Jadeite and Opal White color options. Just like the Camon 15, the Camon 15 Pro will go on sale in India from February 25, 2020.

Helio p22 and p35 again

Now this is wickedness. It's obvious now. Or they are just broke and can't afford more better processors for their high mid range phones and still make the phone fucking costly to cover up for the cash. Or they may be stuck in a deal to use helio p22 and highest they can go will be helio p35. lol. They could only sell to less educated tech people. Tecno, can't you use helio p60 processor for once?

I think tecno still has market in the northern part of Nigeria. Cos ppl there do t really know what OS is all about.
