The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar lll, has come out to speak against the continuous insurgency ravaging the country advising that it can only come to an end when Nigerians start listening to God's message through the Holy Bible and Holy Quran.

The monarch said this when he spoke at the 5th International Conference on “Love and Tolerance: Countering Violent Extremism for Peaceful Coexistence” in Abuja.

The Sultan, who was represented by the Emir of Jiwa, Dr. Idris Musa, said Nigerians are being punished by God for their sins and refusing to abide by the teachings of the Quran and the Bible.

Honestly, this Nigeria's matter don tire me, I swear.
I agree with the sultan, because, misinterpretation and misrepresentation of the words contained in the holy books are our major problems in this country.
Imagine, Nigerians are very religious. If as a Nigeria, you're not a Christian, you'll definitely be a Muslim. Yet, no any trace of dividend of religion in our country.
Christianity is a religion of love and Islam is a religion of peace, yet, no peace or love being enjoyed with and among us. We're just bunch of religious people void of godliness.

It's actually caused by the continuous wastage of millions of innocent souls by wicked fulani northern leaders over the years just to retain power in the north. These souls that were unjustly killed before their time are now daily crying out to God for justice. If the sultan and his northern brothers are really sincere and truly want divine peace in the north they need to do restitution and also allow the restructuring of Nigeria so that no region is maginalized again no matter their religion or tribe. A constitutional reveiw should also be done to include referudum so as to know if Nigerians really want to live together in one country.
