Data thievery in Nigeria

Has any one been experiencing the negative billing of artel in Nigeria ,is it the Nigerian factor or Indian factor, I'm not being racist here. Used to enjoy opay bundle offers, then seems someone in the higher echelons of government came in, their internet bundles were wey so efficient and lasted longer than official bundles from all the gsm networks, then all of a sudden, status quo changed, their prices went up, someone with a government jurisdiction used government power oversight to force their interests and s usual a deal was made to stop giving Nigerians a good deal and give them the same data manipulation where sometime your data gets wiped out at an instant and sometimes you get the data accorded you according to you not browsing content opposed to the Government. Threads about airtel's shadiness became prominent on forums like nairaland and the complaints by many Nigerians were so many. Imagine browsing on your phone and you had 500mb left and woke up the next morning to see 50mb . Wow how can you explain 460mb gone just like that. Nigerians are ripped up by the gsm companies in connivance with corrupt government officials in the regulatory councils. We have an inept government and an inept it minister and inept regulatory body lacking foreign in creative ways to generate revenue and provide quality service to its citizens.

Gsm companies have so much power and privilege but like the rest of a typical Nigerian are foolish and dumb to realise that so much can be realised from these privileges they have. resorting to cheating and short changing themselves is their forte and it plays itself in various angles and levels. Even if you sack the figure heads you might end up replacing them with ignorant people once again who will be led by a corrupt inept management staff who want the status quo to remain. Even if you are a government official and you like money, there are semi quasi less destructive and less fraudulent ways you can use your privilege position and make some nice post retirement benefits and provide excellent service to your people and you will receive great accolades and your name will open doors for your generation yet unborn so they will get a job anywhere they go to in the world. It is pertinent to note that our traditional institutions may have been the ones who coached the white slave masters how to deal with the merchandise they bought and told them to double suppress them while still covertly being in tune with the goods they still betrayed. People like us who have solutions to the problems of this country are desirous to leave and inshallah Allah will leave this country to other places where our services,ideas,knowledge will be used by our host nations and it should be noted past and present public officials should be barred and stripped if the privileges they enjoy outside since they gave refused to develop their own. Their tenacity to make abroad a safe haven for themselves while the nation suffers should be stripped from them.

Indian companies can only cheat people in the west that's why they open up businesses there. They could never do that in the Eastern region because those people are not docile and would never take their shit for granted.
