Reiterating the message on tithing, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, said that paying less than one’s tithe is deception. He noted that it was better that such a person did not pay it at all.



The man of God made this statement through his official Instagram page.

According to him, it is impossible to deceive God because He knows all things.

The RCCG pastor (Pastor Enoch Adeboye) shared some bible verses to buttress his point, noting that no one should attempt to deceive God.

The only time God made tithing mandatory, it was for the Jews, and God was specific on livestock and crops to be tithed. Not money!

When pro-tithers are ready to show us where God specifically mentioned money as part of the items to be tithed, then they should know that monetary tithing is unscriptural.

When God required money for the needs of the Temple, He specifically mentioned where all Israelite males should be levied a temple tax of half a shekel every year. That was an instance of God clearly asking for money.

For those saying monetary tithe isnt the right tithe, how will doctors, nurses, bus drivers, teachers, bankers, lecturers and all service renderers then pay their tithe?
I am sure if a manufacturer tithes his goods and the church puts them up for sale, you guys will still say they are buying and selling in the house of God.
