The call of God is a call to the Christian to be of use in this world. Matthew 22:14 tells us that “For many are called, but few are chosen." While many people are called, they hear the invitation to the Kingdom – few are actually chosen by God and respond in faithful obedience to Jesus. The key word is our “response” to the call. Our response should be invested in Roman 8:28 “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”

God called Moses in order to deliver Israel from the grip of Pharaoh. Therefore, your calling must have a purpose which will or must be revealed to you by God at the initial stage of your calling. This purpose should be for the good of the kingdom. Roman 8:30 should give you confidence because God having chosen you by telling you to come to him. His calling gives you the right to receive and share his glory. When you are called, the glory of God follows you. People will see the glory of God in you. It is called “CHRIST IN YOU”. However you must be aware that your calling is a call to live a “HOLY LIFE”. Feed the Spirit with the word of God and do not gratify the flesh. Lesser you, Greater Christ.

Your main focus must be in Christ and not self by always remembering Hebrew 3:1 “And so, dear brothers and sisters who belong to God and are partners with those called to heaven. Think carefully about this Jesus who we declare to be God’s messenger and High Priest. For he was faithful to God (Not self), who appointed him, just as Moses served faithfully when he was entrusted with God’s entire house.

CONCLUSTION

Ephesians 4:1
“Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, For YOU have been called by GOD.”

God bless wink
