Please house, I need to take an informed decision base on the contributions I get here.

I am a duty manager for a middle sized hotel, I started with them when it was still under construction as the site supervisor and when they started operation, I was made the duty manager, their environment is okay, fun and lively, but very strict and pay is 60k. But recently, I got another offer ad a duty manager too, this one is smaller than my current workplace but the pay is bigger 80k. But the environment is not lively at all but freer that my current workplace, although they say they sell very well.

I am confused, my main challenge is about job security. In my current place, I have contributed alot and I believe they can't sack me unless I do something unforgivable but this new place, in case of any shake up, I know the new people will be the first to go.

If you are in my shoes, will you stay with the current place or move to the new place?

Scale up, your company might do same if they find a better offer from another candidate.

Tender your resignation letter, if they value you, they will open up negotiation with you, if not,
You should scale up

I think if you put your mind to action, you will find a reply.

However, does your current company have a policy for salary increment?
Again, you said the current place is fun and lively, and the proposed new place isn't?

Can the additional 20k from the new give you the happiness you seek?

For job security purposes, my advice is.............

I think you should ask for a pay rise in your current organisation. If your boss is the approachable type, let them know that you're getting offers of better pay than you're currently paid, but you see their organisation as a project you helped to build and can't just abandon it, and you'll appreciate a pay rise to feel appreciated, especially as you've got responsibilities that needs funds to carry out.

I hope you find this helpful
