Farewell To Muhammadu Sanusi Ii by kantin: 12:25pm On Mar 10, 2020
Your detroment is the supreme price paid for your outspokenness against the wrongs and challenges confronting our dear region (Northern region) and Nigeria at large
Your detroment is a set back to our dear region as these will deter others from speaking the truth because of fear of victimization, it is also the best because you are free from the shackles of self imprisonment and slavery because of your position where you can not speak out because of cultural and religious norms which my brothers used to their advantage at the expenses of others to satisfy their selfish interest.
As you bow out to start a new life, may what you stood for light your way, indeed history will remember you as a fear king who paid a supreme price for outspokenness against wrong doings in a society where same wrong doings is seen as culture and religion norms to satisfy their selfish interest.
To my fellow Northerner's and Nigerians as Sanusi II bows out let not forget that
* Nigeria still remained the headquarters of world poverty and Northern Nigeria contributes 87% of the country poverty
* The North has the highest number of child mortality
* The North has the highest number of school drop out
* The north has the highest number of malnutrition, polio and unproductive population
And least I forget
* The north has the highest number of insecurity, ranges from BH, banditry, kidnapping and drug.
Once again farewell.
