To stay in good shape and maintain a healthy lifestyle requires dedication. The common reason many people give up their gym membership is when they realise the hard truth which is; being healthy and staying in good shape is a lifestyle. It's not something you just practice for one or two months and then lay off for the rest of the year.

It all come down to what you want.
Do you want to be champion for a day or champion for a lifetime. If you want to be champion for a day, go do it, go to the extreme do whatever you want.

I advise my clients to do at least a 30 minute gym session X6 a week, that is more effective and will produce a long lasting result better than someone who does 3 hours session once a week. The trick is to get up everyday put in the work to the best you can for that day.
